Glace Icing

Icing sugar………………………..8 oz
Water……………………………….to mix

PREPARATION

Sift sugar into a bowl.
Warm some water gently in a pan and add it to the sugar, 1 tsp. at a time, stirring until all the sugar is mixed in and an icing is obtained, which is thick enough to coat the back of the spoon.
Use at once by spreading quickly on cakes, pastries, etc.
